I have a 1986 Renken 2050 which has a 5.7 liter OMC Cobra stern drive. I have completed the adjustments per the Hastings' post, but I have a question regarding how the shift actuator and ESA module operate together. On my Cobra, the shift actuator arm does not ride up the V to engage the ESA...
Does anybody know the correct cast# for the heads on a 1986 OMC Cobra 5.7 ltr stern drive? It appears the previous owner for my boat replaced the original heads with Chevy heads from 1976. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
