I’m looking to change the oil in my 5.7, I read in a few threads about the use of VP 10W-40 fully synthetic or you can use quicksilver 25W-50.
My question is for the 25W-50 quicksilver, are they talking about the black/silver synthetic blend or the black/blue bottles of “mineral” as compatible...
Unfortunately when I purchase the boat, it didn’t come with a cover over the flame arrestor. I do appreciate all the information. I’ll have to grab some better pictures and part numbers from other components on the engine that I see stamped. Most anything I see says Volvo Penta on it.
Recently purchased a 1999 Cobalt 206. I can’t find the model number for the engine anywhere in the bay or stamped on the engine to ensure I order correct parts. Any help deciphering this would be appreciated!
