    oil and gas mixture

    I am new to this outboard thing. I need to figure out how to mix the gas/oil. I understand from other posts it's a 50:1 mix. 50 percent gas to 1 what of oil.     fuel mixture.

    I am new to the whole boating thing...I am used to getting gas and going.. :D Now i under stand I should mix it 50:1 but I have a 17.5 gallon gass tank...if I fill it to 17 gal. how much oil do I need and what type...I have a 1973 evinrude 60 hp outboard on a 15ft starcraft fiberglass...

    cracking dry fiberglass

    I have an older starcraft boat. It's a Bahama model around 1973 i think.. It has a closed bow..I am suppose to be able to stand on the bow but when i first did it got hair line cracks in it..<br />Is there anything I can do to restore this to original strength other than creating a brace...
