    i have a 25 hp electric start evinrude that jumps out of gear at high rpm nd am going to get a new clutch dog to remedy it. I have found part # 0316501. is this part interchangable with a 9 and 15 hp bc ebay has one listed under that part # but they say its for a 9.9 or 15 but not 25hp. Mine...

    78' 25hp shift lever/jumping out of gear

    does anyone know what the part number for the clutch dog, and shift lever are on a 25hp 1978 evinrude. My manual doesn't have any of the serial numbers in it, and only a few parts have the number on them.Any ideas on where to find all of the part numbers?Any info is appriciated
