Just acquired this outboard motor, put it on a 14' Alumacraft jon boat. It pushed boat along at 15 mph and then all of a sudden it kicked out of gear and revved up. Each time it is put under a load it will kick out. I am guessing the lower unit is the problem but it has many many years since...
