Having a hard time getting a ground on a trailer with a fair amount of surface rust. I'm know rust isn't good for conductivity but it seems extra hard to get a ground. My thoughts are to run jumper cable between sections of the trailer until I have time to clean up the trailer. Thoughts?
My 1984 35hp Johnson seems to only idle and accelerate decently when the Red Lever points away from the solenoid which should be 'manual mode'. In 'run mode' where the red lever points to the bottom of the solenoid - pressing the key switch in will prime the intake, the motor will start and run...
