I have an 1983 Johnson 35 hp motor
I took my boat out and it ran and started up fine we fished for 3 hours it had a little trobble starting up had to trun the key like six times befor it got running
Got to dock and it just cut out like no fuel or something went to start it back up and...
Ok so I replaced my impeller with the new water pump kit every thing work out fine I'm getting water to shoot out the talltail and it's not over heating anymore
So that's good but when I went to put it in gear it just sounded louder then befor idk maybe I'm just trippin out and it's in my head...

Ok so last time I took it out I noticed that it wasent spiting out any water from the tall tail anymore and when I feelt the motor it was steeming hot
I guess I need to replace the water pump and impeller with houseing...

It's had over heating problems and wouldent spit water out the taltail itwas fixed and the main wire harnest relpaced first test run went great ran strong the next test run after 2 minutes in full throttle it just reved up and slowed down I backed the throttle down and at slow speed it ran ok...
