Last setup: Alicraft Norwind 18 w/ Mariner 90HP two-stroke 2001. Perfect prop was E.Chance 13.25x17 which gave me about 5500 RPM.
The 90HP had a 2,33:1 gearcase.
Same boat, same everything expect that I upgraded to a 125HP. Got that engine cheap. It is a 2002 modell in even better...

Something is off and I only get 28 knots with 90HP, while others are reporting 33-35 with 90HP on the same hull. (It is a light hull, only 500KG).

With my old Mercury 30HP I could turn the key and it would start, with this I need to turn it 2-3 times before it starts, but stops after half a second. When I turn the key again it will start right up no problem.
