bought a boat with a motorguide 50lb 24v trolling motor its probably 10-15yrs old. I have cleaned the plug connections and made sure the batteries are charged but the motor just doesn't seem to have much power even on level 5. Its on a Nitro 170DC.
Where do I start is the motor most likely shot...
I have a nitro boat with no rod locker or deck space for any pole bigger than a 6fter. I am wanting to get another spinning rod and was going to get a 6ft rod. Does anyone fish with a 5 1/2 rod? I am wanting to but 8lb line on but just wanted to see what people fished with.

I just bought a boat and while working on a few things I kept hearing a bubbling sound. The sound is coming from the gas take. The boat is a 95 Nitro 170.
Does anyone have any ideas on what this is or whats causing this? Will this effect anything.
