would a new fuel filter and spark plugs help a motor that has not run in a couple of seasons run in gear at low throttle? any help would be appreciated
Took this boat for my maiden voyage yesterday and it ran quite fine for sitting for 3 seasons, however at lowest throttle setting while trolling it would want to stall and lose rpms after a while, it would keep going with a little throttle, just wondering if new spark plugs and a fresh fuel...
I recently bought a boat w/ the motor described in the heading, what i was wondering is if there is a way to wire a small fuse panel somewhere to jump accessories (lights, horn fish finder ext....) i would like to do this to make it easier to add items as needed. also i would like items to run...
for some reason my outboard will not disengage from the bar that locks it to the transom it appears to be supposed to automatically unlock when in neutral but does not...the boat shifts from neutral to forward and reverse and back to neutral any one got an answer please?
just wondering because i just got this boat is this motor a 2 stroke or 4 stroke if 2 how would you mix the gas and in what ratio....the boat has an internal tank
