If you have way to much trouble getting the pins out, how about getting another relay socket from the local parts store, snip your wires...

You should use the thermostat! Your engine is running cold all the time. You know the most wear on any motor is when its cold!

If the 3.0 is fuel injected, it will have a 160F thermostat. Carbureted, should be 140 degree thermostat
