My engine quit in the middle of the lake the other day, several miles from the dock. While observing the motor I noticed the solenoid spit fuel out into the motor compartment. I am thinking I have a clog somewhere? or perhaps the solenoid is bad? I have replaced the plugs with L82c...
I have a 20 Weeres and recently purchased a downrigger but cannot find a decent place to mount it. 17 inch high railing around it that are too flimsy to hold the torque of a downrigger. I was hoping for some suggestions and-or pics from someone who has one mounted. Thank you in advance.
I have a 90 johnson 60 hp (j60elesm) I had the carbs rebuilt 2 years ago but am afraid they are clogged again? I pulled my plugs last night and each one is wet, they are 77jc4 OEM plugs and was wondering if there is an upgraded plug that would work better, hotter, maybe 79jc4? 2 steps higher...
