    I'm in Toronto...engine runs great but gearcase leaks and bolts holding lower half of gearcase onto upper half leak. Would be a shame to scrap this thing

    Question for the knowledgeable here... Will the gear case for a 33 HP Johnson fit for a 1963 Johnson 40 HP? I had thought it would as I see lists the same part number for each, however I have been told the 33HP has no thermostat so they are not compatible Thanks in advance!

    Stuck upper crank seal 1963 johnson 40 hp

    Really stuck upper crank seal. I don't have a puller so I drilled very small hole in the seal and threaded course screws into them. All its doing is tearing the metal on the seal. Any suggestions? Thx
