I need to add pull up cleats to a brand new boat. I will be adding the Accon marine 450-6 inch cleats. I need to drill two 7/8" holes per cleat. What is the best choice to use for drilling the holes? I was planning on using a regular hole saw, but at 7/8" I cant find one that I can run in...
I just reinstalled my prop and it has about a 1/8-1/4" play (up and down) now when on tight. Is this normal? I dont recall if it had this before. Nut is on as tight as I can get it.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks
I know this isnt the idea situation but its the situation I am in.
Anyone done this? If so I have a few questions.
- Can the tower be mounted on the flat gunnels? They seem to be reinforced already which I wouldnt have to do as I was planning on glassing in some 3/8 baltic birch, or does it...
I plan on reinforcing the mounting points on my Bayliner 195 for a wakeboard tower. Here are my plans, please let me know if I am off base prior to starting.

If I remove one do I need to remove...

I have just purchased a 2008 Bayliner 195 Discovery which I take...
A friend and I were talking about the possibilities of creating a turbo setup for the 3.0L and 4.3L engines. He is currently in business making mass produced turbo setups for many GM engines for autos. With so many boats powered by a GM engine this seems like a possible area to expand to...
Parents have a 17' Aluiminum Sylvan bowrider with a 1988 +/- 70 HP 2 stroke Evinrude on it. It is able to get my brothers out of the water on a wakeboard who weigh in the 200 lbs range but could use a slightly better hole shot if thats possible. Just wondering what my best option would be for...
