    engine swap

    I repowered with an 86 Evinrude 40 from an 88<br />evinrude 25. The problem is the 25 had an exterior shift linkage that the shift cable bolted to, and with the 40 the shift cable bolts directly to the shift cam, so now with the 88 control when I shift to forward the motor is in reverse. Is...
