    '63 Merc 110 9.8 carb prob

    Bought it last yr,would start and run great for about 45 seconds. Bought fuel pump kit and carb kit,cleaned real good,used compressed air,reassembled,adjusted per instructions,double checked everything. It will start and idle for MAYBE 30 seconds and die like it has no fuel. Checked everything...

    point gap for 1973 25 hp Chrysler

    I bought the motor today,ordered service manual this evening. Saw the motor run last yr,the guy said he put new points in and it won't start. Can anyone tell me the point gap and timing?

    carb adjustment on 1963 Merc 110 9.8

    New to boating and have read postings. Where is the high speed and low speed adjustments located? I have ordered a repair manual,but,it's on backorder.I have located the idle screw on the front of the carb and it idles fine until I throttle it up.
