I have reciently purchsed an 1957 elgin 12hp. Now the information i have found says for lower unit use either lubriplate 105 or api gl5 sae 80 or 90 weight oil. I bought both . Now the oil is thick but it is still a liquid the lubriplate is so thick i see noway to drain it after it is put in .i...
