    bogs when trying to throttle up

    intermittent idle issue

    Hi All, I have a 1967 Johnson 4 cylinder. I just rebuilt the carb and fuel pump. Some times it idles in gear great, other times it doesn't like to start and idle. It runs good at WOT. Any ideas? Thanks.

    1967 Johnson owners - FYI

    Hi, FYI, if you need or want to replace your high speed jets welch plugs and don't know the size...they are 0.74 or 3/4. NAPA has them. Removing them makes it much wasier to properly clean the high speed jets. ***This is for 1967 Johnson 4 cylinder engines.***

    coil to "M"

    I have a positive white w/red stripe wire that comes from the coil. Should this be connected to one of the "M" terminals on the ignition switch, or the ACC terminal?

    No Muffy...No Start

    Hi All, My 1967 Johnson 4 cylinder, 65 hp, model VXL-13A runs fine in the back yard on a muffy. When I get it in the lake it doesn't want to start. Can someone assist me or do I need to add wheels and a driveline?;) Thanks for your attention. Pete
