    heavy white deposit on hull

    I believe my boat 14 ft starcraft fiberglass has a white deposit on the bottom of boat. I belive it is lime. The boat was in fresh water spring fed lake all last summer. How do I get this off? Can I use CLR?

    73 - 65hp Johnson dies from idle to run....

    I've replaced all of the gas hoses and plugs. 50:1 oil with seafoam. Motor sat in woods for 3 to 4 years before I got it. Motor will idle with start handle up when going from there to run motor bogs and stops. 4/5 times before it will take off.

    73 Johnson won't ildle

    I have a 73 Johnson 65hp that has not been run in 4 years. It was on a boat left in the woods. I was able to get it in the water and started. The motor runs smooth at power but at idle will die unless I lift the start lever. It also wants to die from idle moving into gear.
