    70 h.p. merc. prop pitch?

    I've got a 10' gwinvader with a 70 horse and 15 in. prop. I'll be getting into that prop testing phase this summer, and know how the process works with the RPMs, gear ratios, speeds, and etc. But, my question is this: does anyone know if someone makes high pitch props for smaller outboards...

    10' GWInvader with 70 h.p. Merc Help

    This boat was built in the 60's and rated at 50hp, so i thought a 70 couldn't hurt. i bought the motor from a guy who races boats and this motor is actually not much bigger than a 50 horse. The boat does about 50 or 55 mph. Thought it should be a lot faster than that. i'll be getting a tach...

    '82 Mercury 70 hp HELP!

    I have an '82 70 hp mercury long shaft motor on a 10 ft. GW Invader. I know that a long shaft is not the correct motor for this application, but i have raised it a little already on the transom, but need to go about another 8 inches. I'm afraid this is going to make the boat pretty top heavy...
