OK guys I put a new fuel pump on it and cleaned the carb along with trying a different priming bulb and now it purrs like a kitten. Ran up and down the lake yesterday several times with no stalls and it'll crank first pull everytime after its warmed up. Couldn't have ever wished for a better...
Hadn't tried the primer bulb while running. How do I go about taking the lower unit off to check water pump and impeller? How would I check them to see if they are operational?
I ran with an without cap thinking the same thing but it didn't change anything. I plan to do a carb rebuild soon also. So I'll definitely do that. Thanks for the info on the #10 plug
