Previous versions of the DPs included an o ring on the gear drain bolt. Now instead of the the o ring I see a series of washers and magnets on the diagram on Volvo Penta store. Anybody have any input on the change? My unit is the DP-S1. Thanks.

Yes, there are two wires coming from the engine. The negative (black) is the ground and is usually bolted to the bellhousing. The positive wire (red) is coming from the engine starter. Let me know if the following helps...

Got the aft decking cut, bottom csm'd, screwed in and PB (not shown in pics) all the decking. I also made my pedestals for the captain chairs. Didn't come out to bad considering they were cut with a jig saw. What a day... Tomorrow...
Just changing out the impeller and making sure this looks like normal wear and I noticed that one of the cam fingers is bent back a little. Is this of great concern, should I try and bend it back? It also looks like the PO used the screwdriver method do get the old impellers out. Thanks!
