    I changed out the water pump now I cant seem to get the lower unit to line up . I have done it 3 other times over the years with no problem ,I bet I got about 15 hrs. in trying this. first time it went right together then i noticed that the shift linkage was wrong so i pulled it back apart...

    Ok so i bought this boat from a guy that let it sit for 4 years 99 50 big foot I get it home fires right up on muffs I ran it in the driveway 10 mins then i flushed tank and started over with fresh fuel ran good and fired right up every time till it got in the water started right away...

    Fishing seats stuck in floor

    I just bought a 19' thats been setting for 3 years. the removable fishing seats in the front have been taken off the poles and set in the holes. The guy I bought it from, said this is common for these to freeze in the holes and just to pound them out. I pounded and pounded but no luck...

    lower unit replacement shift rod does not match up

    I am replacing my lower unit 86 Johnson 115 tlcrd I bought one from an 88 spl looks good and bolted right up but shift rod was nowhere close.I pulled it off and the bend at the top is different no way this will work so I guess my question is can I easily swap these shift rods around I searched...

    dead batery again

    I have 115 hp johnny tlcrd if I do not disconect the battery it goes dead after about 2 or 3 days . I do know that it is charging , Any info on where to start looking first would be greatly appreciated

    I rebuilt the carbs. Pressure tested the fuel pump. New plugs. Did link and sync. Starts everytime, but runs rough at any speed. Dies at low idle after 10+ seconds. Fires right back up. Did spark test, looks like is sparking good on all, but all plugs are equally wet and oily when I take...

    long shaft to short

    I have a long shaft lower unit, and a short on mine (that is toast). would like to save and swap driveshaft and use the outher one 100 hp the units are the same except driveshafts and shift arm length can this be changed out easly or am I in for trouble? I had no luck with the search crap...
