    These topics dont make it to the Merc-4-stroke site??

    I was very suprised to find a merc 4-stroke sister site that did not include any of these great topics from this site ?? how can the users catch this trick . I firmly believe the 2 sites should be connected togeather as they are all about the same stuff!!@ And yes they are both I-Boats.com .

    2002 75 horse merc 4 stroke -1 carb clogged?

    Running wide open and one cylinder shut off . Still had spark just seemed as if that one carb clogged 100% in a second.That plug lookes a little whiter than the rest.So we limped home slowly no big deal. The mechenic says one of the 4 carbs is clogged and wants to re build all them for $ 900.oo...

    1996 Polaris slt 700 Runs great then wont start

    Just bought it ,great shape. Put a few drops of gas in carbs fires right up ,blast around lake no problems,return to shore ideling great,hit stop switch and then wont re start. I noticed the fuel filter separator -see through 3 in tall is always about 80% full but never any more than that...
