I am replacing the fuel gauge on my 1996 astro bass boat. The old gauge has 3 post on the back side and then the light. Post one has 1 red wire. Post two in the center has 4 black wires. Post three has 3 purple wires. The light has 2 blue wires.
The new gauge has 1 red positive, 1 blue...
My curent trim motor needs replacing. It has three wires black, blue, and green. The blue and green go directly to the solenoids and the black goes to ground. My question is all the replacement motor's I've found on line only have two wires blue and green and plug in. Do i need the ground?
