    whats this drive shaft pin for (see pictures inside)

    I picked up this lower unit for my 75 hp yamaha and it has this pin on top the driveshaft. The rest seems the same as mine. Anyone know what its for and or how to remove it? Thanks for any help

    How can I find out if a 91 85 hp Yamaha lower unit will work on a 94 75 hp motor? I cracked my lower unit and having a hard time finding a replacement.

    Cracked lower unit Yamaha 75 hp

    I was at the inlet today and ended up cracking the lower unit on my Yamaha 75 hp. Does anyone know if they can be welded? It didn?t leak or anything. I didn?t even know it happened until I put it on the muffs to flush and saw the crack.
