    overheating merc 170 hp I/O FWC

    I have a 1989 larson 215 with a 170hp mercruiser i/o and it tents to run hot after 3mins at full throttle. I ussually then run it slow till it cools down. it is a fwc engine, does anyone know what it could be? antifreeze is full.

    mercruiser 170 hp oil leak

    Hi, I just bought my first boat a 1989 larson 215 with a mercruiser 170 hp engine. The boat ran great the first 8 times I took it out, but now i see oil and water in the bilge area. I am also losing about a quart of oil a day. Can anyone tell me what it is or what i should look for. thank...
