I agree on those options. I guess I was looking to see if anyone knows if I can get a faster top end speed with the Mercury Fourstroke 250 V8 engine over the Verado 250 V8 seeing that the Verado is lower geared. Am I foolish to not go with the Verado?
I'm ordering a new tri-tube pontoon boat and I'm trying to decide between a Mercury Fourstroke 250 hp V8 or the Mercury Verado 250 hp V8. Does anyone have an opinion on which would be the smarter choice?
