I would like to know what you think about putting vaseline all over everything below waterline?<br /><br />What about using heavy-duty floorwax below waterline? There must be some cheap and effective way to keep the green stuff off! :p

I heard that muskrats like to chew on the rubber boot around the outdrive. Just wondered if, first of all, vaseline is safe to put on the rubber and secondly, will it deter rodents.
