    Thank you! I didn't even look at ebay. Unfortunately he took the boat to some shady shop that jerked him around for 3 weeks. He showed up at the shop and just said he was going to take the boat someplace else they told him they broke a cap screw. I helped him out but couldn't get the cap screw...

    I'm guessing it has an ECM so the timing is adjusted by crank and cam sensors. So as long as the timing is close on the distributor then everything is controlled by the ECM.
