I have got a 65 hp 1973 johnson that the shifter is broken in the foot. I took the lower unit off of a 50 hp 1974 evinrude to exchange them and the shafts are different. 50 hp has a 14 spline shaft and the 65 has a 4 or 5 spline shaft
I have removed both shafts and will swap them this...
i bought a used boat this afternoon out of state expired registration. fl law states you have 30 day to register a new boat and you can use your bill of sale until then. my question is does this apply to used boats as the tax collectors office was closed and i would like to run boat tommorow...
