    Throttle adjustment

    Is there a way to adjust the throttle cable on a 1985 50HP Evinrude? Currently it seems like I have to move the throttle a lot before in goes into gear, and even further to hit full speed. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Possible corosion

    This is a real close up pic, but does it look like electrolysis corrosion? I bought the boat used so I don't now if it's a filled in screw hole or corrosion. Any assistance would defiantly help. Should I clean up the oxidation or is it just safe to leave as is? Thanks in advance.

    Help, help, I have a 1985 50HP Evinrude and two months ago I have the carbs replace by a local shop and today I notice there was gas build up under the carbs.     Ground wire

    Does anyone know what this wire is for? When I purchased the boat it was screwed directly onto the aluminum. Is it a ground wire? If so is this the proper way to ground? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
