    metal noise from lower unit only when in reverse

    bottom fin on lower unit, half broken off,is it ok to run

    bad experience on shallow lake, hit some rocks and broke fin off on bottom of the lower unit, prop is fine and lower unit is ok, but what can you do about the broken fin, price a used lower unit online, it was a thousand dollars,, will it hurt to tun, what impact will it make, or can it be fixed?

    yr85 115hp mercury will not take off/ stalls and dies

    my mercury 115 starts fine and idles good but when you give it the gas it dies, checked all plugs they are good, got fire on all six, carbs look fine but I don't know how to clean them. what could it be? it it possible it could be the gas? :confused:

    the carb on my 35hp merc. is leaking gas when you squeeze the bubble on the fuel line, can this be fixed without taking the carb off the engine. :confused:
