    It sounds like you have a bad connection. Refer to page 67 of the CDI guide for your model https://www.cdielectronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/7th-Edition-Troubleshooting-Guide_RS.pdf Also if you have remove the oil injection you should as it is known to have issues.

    Download a copy of the CDIElectronics troubleshooting guide. It sounds like you have an issue with the tan wire running into your powerpack. Could either be a short or a faulty sensor putting the engine into slow mode...
