    replacement high-temp sensor - 60's Johnson

    Found that my 60hp Sea King does not have a high-temp sensor on the motor. There is a "overheat" light on the dash, but the wire is capped inside the engine cowling. Have not been able to locate one outside of doing a full temp guage. Anyone know of where to get one?

    Muffs not enough?

    1964 Sea King (Johnson) 60 hp, v4. Last night hooked it up to the muffs and tried to work on the idle/linknsync. Problem is, it seems to have a very small water pickup, and muffs don't fit very well. I have clamped them down to provide as much pressure as possible, water is coming out above...
