i am new to boats. today i started mine for the first time using a garden hose and the ears that go over the water intake. when i started it i noticed that water was coming out from around the prop. is this normal or do i have a blown seal or something? thanks

i used to clean up the outside of old holley carbs with sno bowl toilet cleaner. it contains hydrochloric acid and made them shine like new. could you use this to clean the toons and make them shine?
