The engine is 2008 50 hp bigfoot. Gas will appear on the water after running it in the lake. It starts up quick and runs great. Just shows gas floating around the engine when we stop.

Sorry it took so long to complete the post from august 23rd. Motor would not idle but ran great wot. Not sure which fixed the problem but the motor runs like new;; Resealed the recirculation cover, cleaned the carb, ( rebuilt the fuel pump - probably the cure). Thanks for the suggestions.
