I bought a new to me uswed propeller. The current sleeve appears to be worn and the inside is tapered small end aft large end forward. Any tips for removing this sleeve without removing everything?

Ok I just changed out my water pump in my lower unit. (Mercruiser Alpha 1 1st Gen 260)
Approximately how much gear oil does it take to fill? I put in (4) 8oz. tubes and am still not up to the vent hole. Just curious how many more tubes I should buy.

Are Mercruiser I/O props and Mercury Outboard props interchangeable in the similar HP range. Going to look at an aluminum 15x17 prop tomorrow that is in good shape and cheap. It is black but do not know for sure what brand yet. current prop is 14.5x17.
