    Slow toon

    My son just bought a 20' toon, with a 60 Hp. mercury 4 stroke, and it only goes 14 MPH, @ 4200 RPM and has a 15" pitch aluminum prop, any prop recommendations for him, like maybe a 13" SS.

    Steers hard

    OK, got a 1998 SX-M, with a 135 Volvo, steering is hard, cable end is greasy and shimy, what in the out-drive could make it hard, my stupid manual shows grease fittings, but mine looks like a sealed bearing, what to do, no power steering.

    Volvo not shifting

    I have a 1998 Larson with a 135HP and SX-M out drive, my problem is, it is in forward, when you move the lever to reverse or neutral, it stays in forward.     Well just as it says, cylinders bad on 2 and 3 so is pistons, took head off and there is a lot of oil, don't look like it was too lean but something went wrong, looking for complete motor.

    Not starting

    I am pretty sure it is the starter drive because the starter shaft spins but the drive will not turn the flywheel, when I took the starter drive off you could turn it both ways and I think it should turn only one way rite kind of like a ratchet.
