My 130 runs runs great from 0-45 mph. When I hit 3500 rpm for 1 second it will miss. When I go past that it runs great. I am puzzled. Any suggestions. <br />Thanks
Can i do damage to an engine if it sits 2 inches below the hull. I do not want to add a jack plate to the boat. The shaft is 25 inches but the transom is 20. I think it will just be alittle slower doing this. If still propped right is this fine? Thanks
I have a 95 150 60 degree evinrude. I want to replace the plastic carbs with metal ones. What year and hp carbs would work for that engine. Thanks I just do not like the plastic. They seam to leak and warp on my engine.
I know you can bore one with a rebuild but would the engine not last as long as if all were the same size piston example all .030 Vs. one bored .030 and the rest standard.
On a rebuild if you only bore the bad cyl to .030 and leave the others standard will the engine not last as long as if you made all 6 .030 and balanced. I have seen some engines with only one cylinder bigger than the other and was curious if it had a shorter life. Thankyou for any input.
What year lower unit will work on my 95 150 60 degree evinrude?. Someone told me one from the 1980's will work. Is there a year range and hp for that engine. My pinion gear disintegrated and so did the entire lower.
