i bought a used 79 johnson 35 hp.my question is. on the spark plug wire there is a tag that says "champion L78V" and the sparkplug thats in it now is QL77JC4. i pulled the plug that is in the motor and it has the metal to set the gap and the L78V does not.which plug should i use and is one...
i have a 79 johnson 35 hp model 35EL79A it starts and idles fine but when i go mid throttle it coughs every other minute and at WOT it makes a squeak every 30 seconds that last about half a second like a mouse any advice would be appreciated
