    1967 40hp evinrude firing problem!

    motor only wants to run when you advance the timing all the way forward.are the points adjusted wrong.the motor was rebuilt by someone else.it as spark,a new carb and reed valves.also new rings and honed.<br /> thanks-you<br /> jim
