Three phase is reasonably common here in older residential houses...There is a point in motor HP where switching to three phase makes sense a 1/2hp 3p or 1/2 1p is a toss up which is better, but when you get north of 3hp its way more...

That is our deckboat...2010 glastron 215 gt...It has a VP 5.0 GXiC-J 270hp...I can get it to do 57mph(on the GPS) with 4 people...It does "OK" in rougher water...but it is coast guard rated for 13 people...:eek:
I have a 21' glastron deckboat that is around 3600# + gas + 1100# ez loader trailer...I go to saguaro lake with my boat and my 1/2 ton silverado 2wd with 4.10 gears and a positrac with nitto terra grappler tires that are 4000 miles old...
I can lift the front of my boat basically with one...

Is there a solder joint where the arrow is? like the flare connection is soldered onto the distributor??? If so you can loosen this up with heat and braze the valve there...:eek:
