    seastar leak

    I have a front mount tilt #HH5741 sterring system that is leaking from the rear of the helm pump. Its where the 6 hex bolts hold the rear plate on. First if I remove the plate where would I get a new seal and second does that plate just come off and whats behind it that I could screw up. Thanks...

    I have the ajustable helm number HH5741, how do I get to the seal thats leaking? Has anybody done this?

    Seastar cylinder leak

    Just got the seal kit, question is do you have to wet the seal with anything before you slide it on the tube ie. steering fluid, and second are ther any hidden tricks?<br />Thanks
