    There was a fuel/vacuum leak at the fuel pump hose. Enough it would idle nice but get too much air during throttle.

    Primer was losing firmness. Pumped it while watching lines etc. Fuel was coming out from around the main nozzle inside the carb throat. That has to be it. After work I will be taking off #2 carburetor and investigate further.

    Had the boat out a couple times now. Very hard to get from Idle to Speed. I took the carbs off and cleaned them and still takes 15 or 20 times from idle to trolling to get it to stay running.     I ran it for 10mins on muffs in the driveway, then shifted it to ensure the linkages were correct. Then got to the ramp and zippo. Just ran some tests on it in the driveway. Compression perfect, spark jumping .250 inch. Ran perfect. BUT....... Wondering why when I pulled the plugs while it...

    Works like a charm! Got to get a drag link for it. For now I just bent some 5/16th tubing and threaded the ends and threw a nut and washer on for the mean time.

    Well everyone. Rebuild DONE! Compression #1 - 120psi Compression #2 - 115psi Compression #3 - 118psi Strong Spark. After this pesky storm passes. I'll be taking the boat for a test run.

    My new crankshaft arrived! The new one has oil seals in between the middle bearings. The old one didn't.
