    I have a 50 hp johnson 2 stroke; 2001 model. Would anyone have a diagram of carburettor so I can identify low speed from high speed jet, or otherwise tell me which is which? Thankyou

    tilt and trim....whats the difference

    Would someone please tell me the difference between tilt and trim......I have always thought that it was a matter of degree; that trim is used when under way to get optimum results and tilt is when you lift the motor up when trailering. Some posts i have read seem to suggest there is more to it...

    tilt trim unit. id three plugs.

    Johnson 50 hp. 2 stroke. 2001 model. Checking level on tilt trim unit; damaged O ring when replacing. Noticed fluid on ground next day. Tilt would not lift motor without my assistance. I will try to attach photos but there are three plugs......top one; fill hole.....one directly below,I assume...

    sludgy flush water

    Johnson 50 hp 2 stroke outboard. Have flushed motor in a half 44 gal drum. Is it normal to get oily milky sludge floating on top of the flush water?

    checking level of lower unit oil

    Johnson 50 hp 2stroke year 2000. removed top screw to check oil level.....small hole.....How do you check how full? didnt notice any washer on the screw....should it have one? Can I top up oil through top hole with syringe?
