Howdy folks, new guy here again-
my 6 hp runs fine- once it's started. it's near impossible to start without a shot of starting fluid (aka "engine cocaine"). one shot, it fires right up, and usually runs just fine.
Does that set off any alarms in your head? Rebuild the carb? Fuel delivery...
