Default 2003 f115 need advice
i have a 03 yamaha 115 txrb, It started to idle rough so i took it to a dealer to have it checked. it has 187 hours on it. it also has oil coming out the breather hose and going into intake. the mechanic checked it out and said
#1 cylinder 10% leakdown...

#2 cylinder 90% leakdown
#3 cylinder 30%...
boat= 2003 carolina skiff 238 v series, 1250 lbs. probably 1700 with gear
engine= 2003 yamaha f115txrb
all i see on the prop is stamped 17x
it is aluminuim.
problem is I can only get 5000 rpms max with it trimmed all the way up on smooth water and speed of 29mph.
I am trying to get at least 5600...
I have a 2003 115 4 stroke that ran great. Couple weeks ago it started going up and down 9n the rpm.now it want get above 2500 rpm at best. I have bypassed water seperator and changed the plugs but nothing.if I pull out the warmup lever it will hit 6000 tons.could 5his still be a feul problem...
