Was Diagnosing an 1100 Kawasaki Jet Ski this morning.
Symptom: It wont run, but it will crank over all day long.
Found: Coils not firing due to no primary voltage, but to be specific I did hookup my meter to the primary side and upon cranking I watch it peak up to 40 volts momentarily then...
Looking into doing work on some Jet Pumps to adjust the clearance back to spec on the Impeller but I'm not noticing any shims listed on Yamaha's parts diagram lookup for the newer year skis. on vx skis I'm seeing listed 2 oil seals sitting on the impeller shaft just below the impeller however...
