I have a 79 Johnson and wanted to know what kinda speed should I be looking at. I have had it open throttle on a full load on a 16 ft fiberglass, and it was at 45 mph (GPS).

Do I need to use a torque wrench to put on a new prop for my 140 HP Johnson (1979)?
Not sure if I need to torque it down or can I just use a regular wrench and tighten it up .
